We run Kombu along social enterprise principles where environmental and social impacts of the business (including the products we sell) is considered equally as important as the usual financial considerations. We aim to bring you the finest quality bulk wholefoods, to delight your taste buds and nourish your body. Where possible we will source regional produce because it is fresher, more affordable, supports the community and is more sustainable for the environment.
We strive to provide minimally packaged organic produce, as we believe eating food free of chemicals and hormones is more beneficial to you, and more sustainable for the earth. We endeavour to ensure that there is no genetically modified food on our shelves.
A significant percentage of any annual profits is invested in environmental, social and community projects. By doing these things we aim to ensure that your health, and the health of our planet are the foundations of Kombu Wholefoods.
